Open the cheat console. Type 'kaching' and press A.

Get 1,000 Simoleons (Alternative) (Infinite Money)

Adds 1,000 Simoleons to your household funds. An older Sims cheat.

Open the cheat console. Type 'rosebud' and press A.

Set Household Funds (Infinite Money)

Sets your household funds to the exact amount specified. Replace 'X' with the desired number (e.g., 'Money 999999'). 'testingcheats true' must be enabled first.

Money X

Enable cheats (testingcheats true). Open the cheat console. Type 'Money X' (e.g., 'Money 5000000') and press A.

Free Real Estate (Misc)

Makes all residential lots free when moving a Sim or household. To turn off, use 'freerealestate off'.

Enable cheats (testingcheats true). Open the cheat console while in world view. Type 'freerealestate on' and press A.

Move Objects Anywhere (Misc)

Allows you to place objects anywhere, even overlapping, ignoring placement rules. Useful for detailed building and decorating.

bb.moveobjects

Open the cheat console. Type 'bb.moveobjects' and press A. To disable, type 'bb.moveobjects' again.

Show Hidden Objects (Debug) (Unlock All)

Unlocks many 'debug' items, including collectibles, environmental objects, and hidden objects not normally available in the catalog. After enabling, search for 'debug' in the Build/Buy mode catalog.

Open the cheat console. Type 'bb.showhiddenobjects' and press A.

Show Live Edit Objects (More Debug) (Unlock All)

Unlocks even more 'debug' items, primarily environmental objects like trees, rocks, and unplayable buildings from the world. After enabling, search for 'debug' in the Build/Buy mode catalog.

Unlock Career Rewards (Unlock All)

Unlocks all career rewards in Build/Buy mode, making them available without reaching specific career levels.

Enable Free Build on Locked Lots (Misc)

Allows you to build on normally locked lots (e.g., career lots like the hospital, police station, or scientific lab).

Full Edit CAS Mode (Characters)

Allows full editing of a Sim in Create a Sim, including name, traits, and physical appearance, similar to creating a new Sim. Requires 'testingcheats true'.

Enable cheats (testingcheats true). Open the cheat console. Type 'cas.fulleditmode' and press A. Then, hold 'A' on the desired Sim and select 'Modify in CAS'.

Set Skill Level (Misc)

Sets a Sim's skill to the specified level (1-10 for major skills, 1-5 for minor/child skills). Replace <skillname> with the exact skill ID (e.g., Major_Gardening, Skill_Fitness) and <level> with a number.

Promote Sim in Career (Misc)

Promotes your active Sim one level in the specified career. Replace <careername> with the career ID (e.g., Astronaut, Culinary, Writer).

Demote Sim in Career (Misc)

Demotes your active Sim one level in the specified career. Replace <careername> with the career ID.

Add Career (Misc)

Adds the active Sim to the specified career at the base level. Replace <careername> with the career ID.

Remove Career (Misc)

Removes the active Sim from the specified career. Replace <careername> with the career ID.

Fill All Needs (Active Sim) (God Mode)

Fills all motive bars for the currently active Sim to maximum.

Fill Specific Need (Active Sim) (God Mode)

Fills a specific motive bar for the active Sim. Replace <needname> with 'bladder', 'hunger', 'energy', 'fun', 'social', or 'hygiene'.

Modifies the friendship level between two Sims. Replace names with actual Sim names. Use a number between -100 and 100 for the amount.

Get Sim ID by Name (Misc)

Returns the Sim ID for a specified Sim. Useful for some advanced cheats that require a Sim ID.

sims.get_sim_id_by_name <firstName> <lastName>

Enable cheats (testingcheats true). Open the cheat console. Type (e.g.) 'sims.get_sim_id_by_name Nancy Landgraab' and press A. The ID will appear in the console.

The Sims 4 Cheat Codes
