Debug: Save Anywhere (Exploit)

With the Dog ending completed and button config Type B active, this combination (per GameFAQs) saves anywhere in the world. The Dog-ending requirement makes it a true reward cheat.

Hold D-Pad Left + L2 + L1 + Left Stick (L3) + Right Stick pushed left (config Type B)

First complete the game with the Dog ending, start a new game and set the button config to Type B (config type 2) in the Options menu. The combo must be entered during normal play as described. PS2/Xbox originals.

Debug: Mini Map anywhere (Exploit)

After the Dog ending, this debug combo (config Type B) toggles a developer mini map overlay during play, cycling view modes per tap.

Extra Options menu (Unlock All)

Hyper Spray (Weapons)

Earn two endings of the same type (both joke endings count differently — beat the game twice in the same 'good/bad' category), then find the Hyper Spray in the RV motor home in Toluca Prison's south area on the next run. Spray colors by ranking: White (basic), Yellow (stun), Green (damage), Blue? — color depends on end rank; the exact color-to-effect mapping varies by version, so treat colors as ranking rewards, not codes.

Dog Key & Dog ending (Easter Egg)

The DOG Key appears in the doghouse near Jack's Inn (after meeting the Rebirth-ending item conditions on one save: White Chrism, Obsidian Goblet, Book of Lost Memories, Book of Crimson Ceremony). The key opens the Observation Room and unlocks the infamous Dog joke ending.

Born From a Wish (Maria scenario) (Unlock All)

Included in Restless Dreams/Director's Cut versions from the main menu. On PS1-adjacent versions it unlocks automatically — it's the fan-favorite 'Maria 2' scenario, not a code.

UFO ending Easter egg (Blue Gem) (Easter Egg)

The Blue Gem (in the restroom stall on the second run) triggers the UFO joke ending when used at the hospital garden, the boat dock, and Room 312 of the hotel in sequence — the Xbox/Restless Dreams joke ending.
