Equip the W-Item Materia (Disc 3, from the subway escape or the Jade/items route). In battle: use item A, then target item B, then CANCEL — item B's count increases by 1 per cancel loop. Duplicates any stackable item (Ethers, HP AbsorbItems, Megalixirs) infinitely. Works in every release including Remake-adjacent ports of the original.
