Far Cry 3 Cheat Codes

God Mode (God Mode)

Add to the game shortcut's Target line (after farcry3.exe). Unlimited health vs bullets, fire, explosions, falling and drowning — but you can still die in animal QTEs (sharks) if you ignore the prompts.

Right-click your Far Cry 3 desktop shortcut > Properties. In the Target box, after the closing quote, add a space and the flag (e.g. " -GameProfile_GodMode 1"). Apply, launch via that shortcut. If Uplay resets it, set Documents\My Games\Far Cry 3\GamerProfile.xml to Read-Only.

Infinite Ammo (Unlimited Ammo)

Add to the shortcut Target. Endless ammo for all weapons except throwables (grenades, molotovs).

Enemies Ignore You (Misc)

Add to the shortcut Target. Mercenaries AND animals ignore you completely.

Invincible Mercenaries (Misc)

Add to the shortcut Target. Makes enemy mercenaries invincible (you can still beat them with takedowns). Fun for a reverse challenge run.

Setup & Read-Only trick (Tips)

Right-click farcry3.exe or farcry3_d3d11.exe > Create shortcut > Properties > Target box: add flags after the exe, space-separated (e.g. "...farcry3_d3d11.exe" -GameProfile_GodMode 1 -GameProfile_UnlimitedAmmo 1). Since Uplay v3.0 you must also set Documents\My Games\Far Cry 3\GamerProfile.xml to Read-Only or the launcher wipes the flags. May not work on the Steam version; verified through patch 1.04. Also works for Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.

Console versions have no cheats (Tips)

PS3 and Xbox 360 versions have no cheat codes, no dev console and no trainer support. Progress normally or transfer a save.
