Shadow Blessing levels (+2% per level, max +60% damage/defense in the DLC) only exist in the Land of Shadow — collect Revered Spirit Ash (weapons) and Scadutree Fragments early or bosses will delete you. This is the DLC's built-in difficulty valve.
