30 Lives (Player 2) (Extra Lives)

Give Player 2 thirty lives instead of three — same famous code, entered on the second controller.

Up,Up,Down,Down,Left,Right,Left,Right,B,A

Before pressing Start on a 2-player game, enter the code on Controller 2, then press Start on Controller 1.

Level Select (Level Skip)

Choose any of Contra's eight stages from the start — skip straight to the Jungle, Waterfall or Snow Field.

Down,Down,Down,Down,Right,Right,Left,Left

At the title screen, hold A + B, then enter the code and press Start.

Sound Test (Easter Egg)

Unlocks the sound test mode on the title screen — browse and play every chiptune in the game.

At the title screen, press Right,Left,Down,Up,A,B before pressing Start.
